GLF Schools

GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Covid-19 Catch-Up Premium

Schools are required to publish how they will spend their Covid 19 Catch-Up funding.

The Covid 19 Catch-Up Funding, known as the Education Endowment Fund (EEF), is a grant from the government to support schools during the Covid pandemic.

It is used by the school to implement initiatives to fill the gaps in children’s learning caused by lockdowns and the closure of school bubbles due to infection in that class.

The fund enables schools to provide extra interventions, either as small group or one-to-one as appropriate, in school. It is also used to develop remote learning so children isolated at home can access their learning and prevent gaps developing. It can be used to support the transition of children back into school if needed.
